Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

I spent some time yesterday going through the boxes of parts removed at the start of the rebuild a lifetime ago.
Does anybody recognise these parts?
The aluminium strip has obviously been used to clamp the rubber strip but I can't remember where. In the back of my mind I seem to remember it was something to do with the doors,, can anybody confirm?

Having searched the archives I was a little disappointed at the lack of clear pictures but that last one tells the story perfectly. Thanks for the feedback gents.
