Hello All!
Can anyone confirm if the windshield from an Elan +2 is sourced from a Ford Consul Capri? I've heard that it is. Is the +2 front glass different from the other Elans. Thanks!

Hello Arthur, I believe it is from a Capri, mine has FoMoCo etched at the top center with a part number. The car isn't here right now so I cannot measure it, but it is definetly from some Ford product and when I go to the garage I'll get the number off it.
To coner 1, which rubber are you writing about, the windshield or door seals? I think both are available, the door seal being generic windlace.

1964 S1, it's the windscreen. I have done this on old cars before but none with a chrome piece to be inserted into it also. Is there any special tools needed. And beside that I really don't want to break the glass.
