Ok, thanks Scott. It's been over a week so I guess I'll wait a bit more.

Maybe try Sue Miller, or some of the other UK suppliers; Kelvedon, S&J?
I have replaced the waist felts on my TR6 and they were different from those in the Elan.

I have the “window waist strips” for my S4 from Sue Miller. 6.50 pounds each., 4 needed. Clips @ 0.20 each, 20 needed. Fit perfectly.
Shipped to California.

I had emailed Sue about two weeks ago and she immediately got back to me to let me know what
shipping will be. I haven't heard back. I emailed her again just a several days ago, hoping to jog
her memory.

Good to know about the TR6, thanks

I put in an order for SJ about a week ago for some other parts but haven't heard back. They usually
get back to me in about a day. They're probably working on limited staff now.

Unfortunately, my phone service is not capable of international calling. I'll try an order
from Kelvedon. Thanks

Sue can sometimes be slow to respond to emails. Keep trying.

Also be aware that the Royal Mail is running 2-3 weeks delivery time to the US with the crisis. Couriers are a few days to the US but obviously more expensive.

If you are replacing the door waist felt strips, are you also rebuilding the window cable assemblies and servicing the pulleys and motors? Well worth the effort in my view. You can then also replace the felt glass runner strips.

Sue has the felt runners that run inside the window frames. Easy to fit. Just tuck in.

Do all that and you will have non-rattling, well sealing, smooth running windows. You might also consider putting relays on the window motors as well for best performance.

Greg, although the window frames are out of the doors, the windows go up and down really well.
The channels are in decent shape, as are the pulleys and cable. I dare say the movement is
better than my Sprint, which I overhauled some years ago. Even the chrome and bottoms of the
frames are in really good shape. This is a case of, if it ain't broke...... Except for the fuzzies
which are very deteriorated.
