1972 Rear seat squabs

Hello,can anyone tell me ( or have a picture) of how the rear seat bases clip in.There is a hole in the centre of the seat base and this lines up with a hole in the body.thanks

Mine has nothing to hold the squabs in but friction. However, it seems plain to me that it was done with a screw and washer, through those holes you mentioned.

Mine have a single self tapping screw, with a trim ring, through the lower front portion of the squab, into the vertical portion of the floor. Not sure if this is original, or added by a PO.

My '70 had black plastic pin drive rivets with the steel pin in the center. I believe they are original. They work quite well until it's time to remove them.

This is how my car (73 S130/5 was, with fast nut on the outside. Might not be original thou as my interior has been redone.

When re fitting I used some longer screws to make it easier together everything back together.
'73 +2 130/5 RHD, now on the road and very slowly rolling though a "restoration"
