Yes, I called. The classic number is 800 848 1351. When you call you get thrown into a general call center in Georgia . I called several times and was told the Classic division is gone. They also said they have no lotus elan windscreens for sale.

There appear to be some mistakes in that Pilkington product list; 9113 cannot possibly be the same screen for S2, S3 and S4 it should be just S3 and S4.

I had the bad experience with Ricky Evans Motorsport screens referred to earlier. Their screen failed (delaminated ) after about a year and with fewer that 1500 miles of use. No acknowledgement of any liability, offers of replacement etc. Beware!

I sourced a replacement from Susan Miller, who had one in stock (S4). She only supplies the correct Pilkington screen and it fits perfectly.

Susan Miller is the first supplier I approach for Elan parts and is a pleasure to deal with.

Made an inquiry this week to Pilkington (6/25/20). It appears it would indeed be about $1K (approx $500 for windshield and $500 shipping) delivered to me in FL and take 3-4 months as stated above. I will be making an order. Can inquire about reduced shipping for multiple windshields if anyone has immediate interest (and re-shipping from me to you makes any savings....). You may be able to get Pilkington to ship directly to different places from their US center instead of them being shipped to one customer & then you doing the shipping to individual people. I organized a bulk buy several years ago & they did it for me.

Thanks Keith! In reading the earlier posts in the thread, I had surmised that the US group was closed (at least the ones that handled classic glass). Are you speaking of a group that still exists?

I haven't been in contact with them since I made the order, so I don't know if they are still open or not. I was just passing on what I was able to do, but it was around 10 years ago.
