I just received a call from Pilkington Classic US that they have 4 Elan Triplex windshields. They had me on a call back list - but had forgotten that they had already supplied me with one several months back.

Pilkington said that they had two more people on the wait list to call. If they take theirs that would leave another 2 available. Probably not for long. If you need a genuine Triplex Elan windshield in the US now is the time to call Pilkington Classic. These windshields only come in every 6 months or so.

BTW: I still have my old, original 1969 windshield - no cracks, one pit, some general abrasion but otherwise sound. If anybody interested PM me.

Is the US Pilkington affiliate based in San Jose, CA? Are the 'two' extra windshields S4 variants? Thanks.
