I've been painting my roof (with considerable help from Grizzy) and have come to teh polishing bit.

Before that what colour should be inside the vent space? Normal Satin Black? Green and Red in case of flood?

my experience in all the Plus2's I've found it is the body color, not a blackout job.
hope someone else can confirm or rebut that....

I'd say matt black. The grills themselves are, on the insides, satin black on my +2S 130/5 and grey on my Sprint.

When I did mine back in the late eighties, the roof had never been painted, the metal flake was still in the gel coat, & that was what was behind the vents. No black, matt, satin or otherwise :D

Thanks for the replies .

I've gone with Satin Black. The surface inside the vent is a bit rough and was visible with shiny silver.

(Also I had a can.)
