I did a search on this and couldn't find anything.

I am installing the windows according to the Buckland instructions. The problem I have is when I have the window set so that it will move to the full up position, it stops about 1/2" above the hard stop at full down. At the full down position the cable exits the drive pulley at the 12 o'clock position. At the full up position the cable exits the drive pulley at the 2 o'clock position.

I can't see how moving the window is going to buy me anything other than robbing Peter to pay Paul. If I move the window down much at all, it won't seal in the full up position. I am using the original parts and cables. The only thing I noticed that was funny was that the cables seem to be too long.

Any insight will help.

put everyting on a big enough table. the rear cable should be fitted AFTER the front works. both cables should be quite a bit longer than needed. i think you're gonna struggle if you use the ones you got.and remember to have the cables turn properly on the engine pulley (they wind up from both sides/directions - just take you time!) and don't cut to length before everything moves nicely! sandy ps - i used 1,5mm dia cable

I suspect you need to wind another turn of cable onto the drive pulley. According to the workshop manual there should be at least 1/3 turn left from where the cable enters the hole in the pulley at the extremes of window travel in each direction.

Thanks for the inputs. I will get some new cable and wind more onto the drive pulley. After thinking some more about this I have and idea that may make it easier if there is room.
