Hello people
I know, I know, I'm a pedant, obsessive, compulsive but....... can anyone tell me what the original colour code is for the paint used on the jack and jack ratchet????

I have seen them in red. Look at the ex-Neil Widdowson Sprint in the Elan book by Duncan Wherrett. Jim

Several colours shown on this website - and one code .....RAF blue/grey' - code BS633.

Phil, your jack looks identical to mine in shape and colour, but mine is more "weathered" hence my need for paint!

Paint it red to remind yourself, that it's dammed dangerous getting under a car that is only supported by a jack.
