Hello everybody,this was fitted on my dashbord.I searched the internet for the missing rings,but I think this is home work from the previous owner? The original plastic one are not availble anymore ?

I think this it what you're looking for, it's from an English Ford MK 3 Zephyr or Zodiac. Also fitted to GT40's. The Lotus version is slightly different, the two securing holes at the front of the part are turned upward allowing screws to be fastened without drilling holes in the windscreen
They do turn up on eBay from time to time. Maybe somebody on the forum has a spare.

Early pre-crossflow Corsair I believe Rob. A lot more Elans left than Corsairs!

I am fitting my demister grill, and it is a very poor location in the dash top. When fitted at the rear, the front stands proud. Likewise when the front is fitted, the rear does not. It looks like Mazinni has a similar problem. The obvious conclusion is the grill is too big for the hole, even when trying to force it to fit, but l believe both the grill and dash top are original. Is this as good a fit as I can expect or am I missing something?
