Seat mounting frame orientation

Simple question, I have two seats and two mounting frames for my early Plus 2. Which side should the adjustment lever be on, the sill side or the gearbox side. I guess it?s not vital, but might as well have it correct,

Mine is on tunnel/left side in the driver's (rhd) and think on the left side for the passenger too.

Just been to check my Jan 68 RHD +2 and the Drivers Lever moves to the left towards tunnel and the passenger moves to the right, again towards the tunnel.

So yes they are handed.

Thanks for that, I'll fit the seats tomorrow - something for the wife to sit in while helping bleed the brakes!
Big milestone today, started the engine for the first time since January 1985 :-)
A bit smoky but that's to be expected as its had oil in the cylinders and been turned over every now and again.

Congrats Triple-B!!! :D :D :D

I'm envious; mine was last started in December 2015 but starting it still feels far away right now.
