Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi All,

Working on my plus 2 and adjusted the passenger door closing latch to make the door fit flush and now cannot open the door using either the door latch or internal release.
any ideas on how to overcome this, thought of trying to remove the door card and see whats happend?

push the door and then press the button...the spring is holding the latch on the hoop because it is too tight
had the same when i replaced the rubber seals, they push the door out slightly
