71 Elan Sprint original parts - identify

PostPost by: bloodknock » Fri Apr 06, 2018 2:36 pm

Hello again fellow travellers
At the very bottom of my original parts box are these items of trim. Can anyone identify them and their correct location on the car. They were removed from the car back in the mid seventies...No photos...no labels!!!
Thanks

The heater plenum has a trim strip at the top, that doesn't look quite right for that, if original? I can't think of anything else at present.

looks like door seal trim, especially the upright pillar near roof line (with that bend at the end), however it should be a continuous piece the full length wrap around the entire door opening. Perhaps it was cut?
now do I win a prize?

I agree - part of a cut-off door seal trim. Keep it as an emergency spare !

Is the car a soft top ? Looks like parts of the hood tray edge trim.
