Door Seal Finish

PostPost by: Terry Posma » Wed Jan 10, 2018 2:00 am

Can anyone advise how the door seals are finished at the end cap which sits under the hood cover on an S3?

I would think the seal would be squeezed under the cap but there does not appear to be sufficient room. Photos of original would be appreciated.

Cheers.

I slit mine to allow the seal itself past.
I suspect that's not correct though

What James shows is correct for S3 onward, per the Parts manual..

James,

That is exactly what I was looking for.

I am not sure how the whole lot is going to fit but that is another question.

Cheers.

It?s pretty simple push fit then gets locked in place with aluminum strip when it?s secured
