Hi all,
can someone let me know the torque setting for the seat belt anchor bolts. Can't seem to find the specific value. I think the bolts are 5/8 unf, and the tables suggest about 100 ft/lb which seems a bit high to me.
Any suggestions apreciated.

d'oh, of course it is not 5/8", brain was out of gear! 7/16" seems right and torque of 40ft lbs sounds about right. thanks

Keep in mind that the seat belt anchor bolts go into nuts that are welded to relatively weak structures. I would go a bit lower than the normally recommended torques which presume the ability to put a bench on both the nut and the bolt head, or that the bolt is going into a substantial casting.
