Curtis Unlimited 26R flares

PostPost by: Davidb » Tue Sep 26, 2017 11:02 pm

Rather than mess up a thread devoted to drive-shafts (!) I thought we should these in their own thread.

Who can give a report of buying/fitting Curtiss 26R flairs?

I can't speak for the 26r parts, but have purchased other Curtis sections. Good quality, no complaints.

I purchased a set from Faye Curtis, but haven't fitted them yet. Seem to be very nice quality. I got a lightweight bonnet at the same time that is wonderfully light!

Has anyone purchased any fiberglass parts from Curtis in the last 2 years? Are they still being made?

I do need a pair of front 26R flairs, short front bumper or a complete short nose.

Also, I wasn't sure Curtis had molds to produce 26R flairs etc ?????

Only way to find out is to call Faye and ask. John
