Hello, I have searched unsuccessfully for this topic so apologies in advance if it has been discussed. Does anyone know of a reliable source of good quality front and rear screen rubbers for a series 4 elan coupe
Thanks
Steve

Steve, its Mini section cut and joins dat the corner for the later cars.

I've also got a section of Bolwell screen rubber that I'm about to try for the S1, both types use a chrome locking strip. I'm in Sydney, the Bolwell Club in Victoria made hundreds of metres and I've been patiently getting to know them, I'll drop you a line to confirm its fit.

Regards

Vaughan

There not just standard mini rubber Extrusion, it has an extra flap which makes the seal a pain to get hold of. That said Paul Matty had some of the correct seal and made up some screen rubbers with the correct angle corners BUT!! the quality of the corner cut is a bit hit and miss, i had three before i decided on one. Might be worth asking them if they could supply the seal for you to cut the corners your self.

A couple of Thread's i saved on the subject you might find interesting.

I believe that Susan Miller at Mick Miller Classic Lotus has the pattern for screen rubbers and has a quantity made every now and then, worth giving her a call at http://www.mickmillerlotus.com/lotus-services.html

Paul Matty supply Sue (so they say) she might have some in stock but they seem to go quite fast. Maybe worth a try.

Don't forget to check the corners if your shipping all the way to Australia (i asked for pictures of the last one i ordered)
