Hood and frame noise
Posted: Sat Mar 25, 2017 6:42 pmI've noticed on my car (hood up) that above a certain speed the hood starts resonating against the forward hood frame cross strut which is a bit irritating. I seem to recall that this occurred on a previous Elan I have owned. Is this quite common and is there a way of stopping it? The only thought I came up with was to try sticking some thin foam tape on top of the rail.
