Can someone post one? It will impossible to find one (my part needed added is very lonely) but I do have a small scissors jack that I can try my fab skills on (fabrication, not fabulous). Especially interested in the top, how it plugs into the side rails.
Thanks!
Thanks!

This recent thread may help...

I used ready rod and a long connecting nut to make up something similar as I don't have welding skills or equipment.

Thanks guys! I see both the original, and what I can do with a scissors jack. The original is assumed to be unobtainable, but I can weld and we'll see what I can make.

The stock +2 jack isn't the best design tbh, if you haven't replaced your inner sills and their a bit corroded the jack has a habit of ripping the tube off the inner sill and punching it through the floor, just what you need on a dark wet night (just ask me how i know that yep... had a bit of a Hulk out moment)

Yup, just like mine from a Feb 1970 Plus 2S. I have blasted, repaired and refinished my jack and ratchet handle but they'll never be used again, nor greased . . . Just taken to shows.
FWIW, I plan to use a conventional scissor jack (like the aluminum ones from older Porsches) and make up simple/small plywood pads for front and rear suspension, so I can lift from under the hub area, and just enough for the tire to clear the ground. After 1.5 years of bodywork it freaks me out to think of applying any more twist to the body shell/chassis than is absolutely necessary!
YMMV . . .
Regards,
Randy
