So, just to clarify for the most un-rocket-scientist-types among us:

1. Is this is something that you designed & cut yourself?

2. Did you make this just for your own use, or are your considering making others, using this material and/or other exotic materials?

3. Did you first create a pattern? Could this pattern also be used to cut a wood based dash?

4. Did the pattern survive the fabrication process?

5. Is there a clear coat over the base material?

6. What is the type of clear coat used?

Responses such as "None of yer freakin business!" are perfectly acceptable & understandable.

PS: Congrats on a really awesome looking dash!!

hi jay and i luv ta help! as far as i remember i bought 8mm marine grade plywood, copied or traced the original, added two additional instruments (separate water and voltage gauges) cut out the gauge holes in the wood, then "added" the veneer and THEN cut out the holes with a high speed circular grinder/sander. pretty simple and a pleasant job! if i forgot soemthing vital let me know - sandy
