S4 door covers!!

PostPost by: djb222 » Sun Jan 29, 2017 7:10 pm

At some point I will need to replace my door trim. Browsing things Elan on the web I came across these.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lotus-Elan-S4 ... SwtnpXoaY3

Now at ?80 per set they seem remarkable value, especially compared to others I have seen for sale at around 4 times the price.. A fair few seem to have been sold, has anyone used them or any opinion?

Paul West does a remarkable job with seat covers as well. I purchased a set of s3 seat covers with original waffle weave materials, great workmanship and value. I am fairly certain he does S4 seat covers as well.

Thanks

When you say the correct material, everyone can get the right basketweave... Paul has a good stag vinyl but not the exact "buffalo" vinyl that Lotus used. Nobody has that...

Also, Paul can only do sewn seems in the basketweave, not welded as original. I have some pictures I will post later today.

Paul's product is very good & a lot cheaper than Aldridge or Newtown Commercial.

What the heck is a "piggy burn?!

Here are the pictures I lifted from Paul's ad for seat covers:

They were ?300/pair. If you want to communicate directly with Paul, his e-mail is [email protected]" target="_blank

Thanks they look really good quality, I'll be getting in touch with him soon.

"piggy burns" should be ciggy burns, as in cigarettes, I hate predictive text.
