Dhc windshield frame

Could anyone post me a picture of top of their windshield frame showing me what padded vinyl covered section is supposed to look like? The one on the car I'm restoring had plumbers pipe insulation glued up in there I don't think it's the way it came! Any help will do! Thanks!

The foam in mine disintegrated.
I had planned on using a dissected swimming pool noodle to repair
