Wiper arms

My right side wiper arm looks wrong to me.

The arm is cranked exactly the same as the left hand one, which sits nicely along the bottom edge of the screen.
Seems to me that the arm would sit better if it wasn't cranked (bent!). Question is....is this the normal arrrangement? Have I got the wrong arm on the RHS and it shouldn't be cranked. I suppose I could straighten the arm out, but I don't want the purist's to say "That's not right" :) Advice please as to what is the correct arrangement.

.........i'd say it's the correct part BUT if you re-adjust 2 (+/-) notches clockwise it'll be as it should - we lhd drivers don't have THAT problem!! sandy 36/4982 - i have, I'd say, a 10% chance of being wrong

The arm should be cranked, but on a RHd car it never parks particularly well

Personally I would say that your wiper arms are maybe an inch or two too long.

Sorry I can't measure mine because they are in store somewhere off the car but this will give you an idea how long mine have been.

Thanks :) I've managed to improve the situation by swapping the blades as the LH one was a little bit shorter, flattening out the amount of bend on the arm just a tad and turning the arm on the spindle by a notch. Doesn't look so bad now. Thanks to all those who replied to my post, appreciated
