boot lock

anyone know what the internals from an early +2 boot lock can be changed with.....
mine seems to have died....

Hi Gareth,
I replaced the lock in my S4 boot handle witch is the small early version the same as theS3 and I think is the same as the early +2.

S6000697.JPG and

I bought it from John Richard Security Products (Wirral) Ltd,
Part number is B-14-204 It was packaged by ASP.Inc but is of Wilmot Breeden manufacture, FT Key series.

I spent hours searching through John Richard?s on line catalogue looking for a lock to match (I can?t find the catalogue on line now).

Isn't there one going on ebay at the moment Coventry Cimax / S3 about ?24 at the moment.

anyone know if the door lock from the early +2, Austin 1100 is the same?
Im guessing not but I haven't got access to car or garage at the moment so thought Id ask the silly question...
