Door panel question

I've acquired a set of door panels from a generous forum member here and need to identify. I'm pretty sure they're S3 panels but there is no hole for the door handle but a cutout of sorts below where the door handle would mount. The 'glass on the backside is virgin, as far as holes are concerned.
So, are they S3 panels that are virgin or is there a run of S3s with a door handle mount in a different location?

Hi Greg
Here are some photos of some type 36/45 door panels
These two photos are of the S4 SE Coupe doors from 1970
Yours appear to be from the S3 Super Safety as they have the cut out for the door opener handle. The second photo is from Bill?s SS 36/7502 and show the handle nicely.
Here are some photos of 36/5520 door panels, these are ?early coupe with the window switch in the doors.

Exactly what I have! I have only seen one other Elan with the above. I'm still looking for the stretch vinyl with the right texture to recover mine.

Thank you!
The holes are not missing though. It's supposed to be like that.
