Glasplies are still around

http://www.glasplies.co.uk

Strand Glass have recently closed a number (almost all?) of their branches. They do have a website and respond relatively quickly to emails but I have a feeling they won't supply retail any more.

The parent company is Scott Bader

I've had good (mail order) service from CFS Fibreglass Supplies who have an online shop and quite reasonable prices.

Their printed catalogue is about 50% a how to do it guide (as is glasplies iirc)

Hi Bruce
Strand turned into The Fibreglass Shop.
Still located in Brentford on the other side of the road tucked in a corner in a parade closer to Kew bridge.
I had some gear off them earlier this year which was fine.
I purchased mail order so needed to establish a price first then send a cheque. They didn't do plastic money at that time.
All the best

Just a +1 for The Fibreglass Shop in Brentford, which is still going.

They do plastic money now, but have no website, and it's the kind of place you'd want to visit. Easy parking round the back of the shop.

The guy who runs it is very helpful and knowledgeable. The shop stocks a bewildering amount of different resins and mats etc. Including carbon and kevlar. Plus every kind of accessory you'd need.

(The owner used to work at the previous Brentford fibreglass shop, as recommended by Miles Wilkins in his book).
