+2 Door check straps needed

yep thats what I did....
got a set of rover p6 check straps.....
they do fit but the strap itself is a bit too long.....I had to crop mine...

I used rear Rover door checks. I am not certain but I believe I used the original straps.

Time goes by and these details which I was conversant with are fading away.

Bob is right. I just used his advise and found a left rear door check strap from a Rover P6 that was a direct replacement for my driver door. Mine came from the UK for 15 GBP.

Fast-forward 6 years, and I am on hunt for a pair of Door Check Straps for a +2.

I've tried all the usual suspects, (Susan, Paul M and SJ) but no luck. eBay is also throwing a blank and the Rover P6 club is showing no stock.

Can anyone suggest any other sources? Or maybe I could help someone clear some space in their garage?

A pair for ?25? Last pair I saw go for over ?100 and they were rusty and well used.

Crazy as a coconut. There still listed as being ?10 on the P6 parts site but I guess it hasn't been updated for a while.

Well, I've just noticed mine are missing, so I guess I just wait a little longer until something comes up...for a reasonable figure.

I just bought a pair on eBay a few weeks ago.

I do have a spare pair of the door mounted section now as they were missing the actual straps!

I don't know if they are available at ?10 each. I have a set in my spares box somewhere I think but they wont be leaving it for ?25 that's for sure.
If I can find them and they are spare you can have them for ?100 but I guess that's too much for you.

Thanks for the offer Simon but I won't be paying 100 unless they were nos. I may consider 25 for the one on eBay but I guess other people will have more disposable income than myself I have plenty of other things to keep me busy in the meantime just hoped there might a reasonable source for them still.

I paid ?125 for pair I bought. Expensive, but that's the first pair I'd seen for sale for a while on eBay, so I was having them!
