Elan Door removal - don't mess with the 1/2 inch bolts

If you intend to put the door back on, try unscrewing the top only, and the rest may wiggle out. Then the gaps may be preserved on reassembly. Taping the door edges is a good idea as no one ever drops or bumps one...

Thanks for the replys.
I got the drivers door off ok but the passengers one was stuck tight and rounded.I took a hacksaw blade and carefully cut the top bobbin. Once I had the door off I removed the bobbin with a small pair of stillsons. I'll have to try and source sone replacements now.
