Elan S2 Cast Window Lift Parts

PostPost by: ceejay » Mon Jul 20, 2009 2:21 am

Picture of elan S2 window lift part. These parts are off my S2 which is undergoing refurbishment. Original items were die cast (Al zinc metal) & Chromed. If there is enough interest I will cast two or three batches. They will be cast in Aluminium, polished and clear coat lacquer finished. Price will depend on moulding - casting time, plus required finishing time. PM me your expression of interest if you are looking for these parts.

Yes, several S2 window lift sets have been cast, finished & delivered.
They are not cheap to reproduce, the time involved to cast, linish, polish
& lacquer being the killer... makes little difference whether two sets or
ten sets are being produced as the time spent on items is much the same.

The original lifts were die cast with expensive die tooling, but the tooling
cost is amortized over a run of several thousand items... but I am afraid those
days are long gone as far as the elan is concerned.

S2 Elan owners can place orders at the page below, price includes
world wide shipping, we don't hold finished stock, orders are
commenced on an "as placed basis".

If a small batch order is placed, we will endeavor to complete the
order/s in between the building of CV drive shaft kits.
