Does anyone have a clue abt the code for the "correct" yellow that was used to go with the racing green, as used by Team Lotus in the old days??
I know there must be abt 100 opinions on this, but I'll give it a try anyway......

Tks.

Hi Dag

According to a 1967 book on motor racing team colours and markings, lotus used ICI P030-5250 for the green and industrial paints TXGL 172/1 for the yellow. Hope this is of help.

Interesting!

The first code doesn't match to the L01 "British Racing Green" used on the road cars (ICI P030-2854) and it's not the Cortina green either!

Can't find anything on the yellow though

Tks Ryan, I'll ask the paint-shop to come up with a sample of yr code.
I have painted my car Brooklands Green ( BMC) as recommended by TT.
This is a clear, dark BRG colour, without being "black", but requires a sort of warm yellow.....- I believe..... This isn't easy... :?
