+2 Window Quarter Light Channels Manufactured in Stainless

PostPost by: pmallinson » Tue Jul 10, 2007 12:10 am

Gentlemen

We are reaching the end of the current availability (one pair left) so as they seem pretty popular please let me know if you want me to get some more made ? as stated before they will be about 45 GBP (so long as the engineering firm do not want more $ for a pair !! :? ) to the UK and whatever additional cost of P&P on top of that to elsewhere :)

(Jon this does not effect you as you are pretty close to me so P&P will be either free if we meet up or reduced hopefully via AnPost. I may have a trip up to Clare this next time off for a look round so could look you up ! will let you know)

IF your not fast your last as they say so let me know if we need more ? working the roster I do (1 month on 1 month off) it can take considerable time to get these to Ireland, up to 3 months and my time in Vietnam is fast coming to a end  so this may be the very last opportunity !

Thanks

Ron

Sorry all sold, but if there is enough interest I'll get some more SS ones made.

I do though have some mild steel and painted ones still available and these will be 35 GBP and to be honest with the additional thickness of materials used in their manufacture they will last many years

Cheers

Prompted by reading your posting, I have stripped down my doors & the current ones have rotted away - far worse than your picture! I'd like a pair of stainless steel ones too - how long before you might arrange another batch?

Simon

As there was little interest from anyone for getting more made I have not done so !

The mild steel ones are available though if your interested, the problem is the minimum batch number the engineering shop will make is 10 pairs and so far you are only the second one showing interest ! :(

If the mild steel will suit you (they are much heavier gauge the same as the stainless are) I feel sure they will last a lifetime if you think your 'TIN' ones lasted 30-40 years then thicker better metal and painter should last equally as long easily

Cheers and sorry for not having them but is was first come first served

Peter,
Having looked more closely, I now see that the channels are missing from my window frames. Can you add me to the list of those interested in a set of mild steel channels please?
regards
Mike
