Steel wheels - colour

At some point I need to have the steel wheels for my 1968 Plus 2 restoration project blasted and painted.
I'm looking for some suggestions on the shade of silver, or the Lotus colour code.
The car is Cirrus white, or shortly will be, and I think that this colour and silver steel wheels just looks great on an early Plus 2 but I would like to get the wheel shade 'right'
I'm inclined to go with a slightly darker silver, almost a 'pewter' shade, but would welcome views and what others have done.
Another question - if I had them blasted and then etch primed them, would they take a powder coat finish or does that need a bare metal start?
Cheers
Jon

Sure, if I did that, or even painted, it would need to be removed where the spinners make contact

There is no cure for Lotus, only treatment.
