Does this handbrake tree look right?

Hi There
My project car came to me "lightly assembled" and the handbrake tree was on the car. I have changed the chassis to a Spyder one, and for the life of me its does not look like it could possibly function with the diff there. It also looks significantly bent to me.
Opinion sought, pictures below,
Many thanks
Berni

Zetec+ 2 under const, also 130S. And another 130S for complete restoration. Previously Racing green +2s with green tints. Yellow +2 and a couple of others, all missed. Great to be back 04/11/2021 although its all starting to get a bit out of control.

Hi Guys,
I shall straighten the tree and have a play with it again later today. It looks like the top arm (the ones the brake actuator rods attach to) may have been extended at some point. Does anyone know how long it should be hole to hole?
Many Thanks
Berni
