Can anyone confirm that the felt strip wipes the outside of the window glass, item 33.

I too am disassembling +2 doors
Would like clarity too!

From how I understand, the front 1/4 window has its own seal surrounding the inside. This piece continues along the entire length of the window frame to door encompassing the front 1/4's
Born, and brought home from the hospital (no seat belt (wtf)) in a baby!
Find out where the limits are, and start from there

There is a rubber seal that contact the glass on the outside, isn't a lower felt strip on my car. Hard to see the detail from the diagram.

The front 1/4 is sealed in with some kind of putty on on my car.

Yes, bought all the seals and felt from Sue Miller but can’t 100% work out exactly what goes where

felt on both my +2's below the rubber, probably as a damper/cushion

Yes, I’ve now got the window and quarter light in the frame and frame in the door. Have yet to do the next tricky bit which is is outer rubber seal and chrome strip. Quarter light was a bit of a swine.
