Hello people
Once again I have unidentified parts. This time four pieces of trim vynyl, and two pieces of thin foam rubber sheet.
See photos below:
Any positive ID or information will be gratefully received.
Regards
Bob

Same place?
Packing between motor and door card?
You may want to consider plastic bag around the motor to prevent rusting from water dripping and condensation (large lump of cold metal)
The bag has lower corner clipped off for ventilation.
I used the offcut foam sheet from behind the door vinyl wrapped round the motors for packing.

Not sure if you have it but the door opener also has a piece of vinyl inside it.

The piece stuck there should be the "basket weave" like center of seat cushion or back

Thanks Mark
Got that, I'm kinda worried about total enclosure in polythene, ive had trouble with codesention in other similar circumstances.
Ive checked the motors over and theyre both in fine fettle. I'll give more thought to anti condensation.
Thanks Alan
fortunately i knew about the handle insert, my originals still had it fitted!

I too knew about the handle insert but I didn't know it was basket weave - anyone got a picture?

That's pretty cool, might have to go find a bit of basket weave now...

Hi Guys
'71 Sprint FHC.
Just finished refurbing the window winder motors. Getting all the parts ready for door fitting and assembly. Finished the handles last week, (theyre the originals Mark, just new basket weave) made sure that i have all of the rods and couplings. Now know what the odds and sods of vynyl and foam are for, using new SS bolts every where.
Windows and frames refurbed and cable syten fitted
Carefully making sure everything fits so as not to damage paintwork.
Fitted side carpets ready for the draught excluder. I still have the original which i'll try to use, its a bit manky but at least I know it worked originally.......UNLESS......someone knows where I can get a direct equivalent??????
Regards
