eBay head scam again today

The cylinder head spotted yesterday was taken down by eBay, but sure enough the guy is back up today having highjacked someone else's trading name and advertising all the same items as yesterday.

I advised eBay this morning and they will be taking this ad down later today, not sure how they do it but they have a means to highjack your name and then advertise what they like until they are found out. Can't understand why eBay have not done something about this obvious loophole in their system, suffice to say it is worth going on their site occasionally and checking that your eBay name/account has not been compromised, easy done by clicking on follow this seller.

I'm led to believe that if you message them, either through Ebay, or to an email address that they include in their listing (more likely), then they can somehow hijack your account that way. They have an unending list of Ebay user names from people doing just that, and can just re-list at will. You'd have thought that, as it's been ongoing for 4-5 years, that Ebay would have been able to do something about it by now, either from photo recognition or some other way. There's one of them that has been using the same classic car photos now for the majority of that time, and regularly posts nearly 2000 items for sale.
