1971 Lotus Elan Engine for Sale

I have a Lotus Elan engine for sale with a Weber head (no carbs). The original Stromberg head was rebuilt by Nick Stagg Engineering in 2009. The rest of the engine was rebuilt around that same time. In 2012 the prior owner decided to design and engineer his own fuel injection system to replace the carbs. He purchased a Weber head and had Twin Cam Sportcars machine and refit the parts from the Stromberg head onto the Weber. The prior owner did not ever get the injection system to work properly even after many years trying. The engine has less than 1,000 miles on it since the first rebuild.

The Stromberg head and used Stromberg carbs sold separately for $500.

The engine is located in PA and I can assist mounting the engine on a pallet for shipment if required.

Price is 4,500.
