Solid Driveshafts for Elan

PostPost by: bitsobrits » Mon Jun 15, 2020 1:11 am

Steel u-joint style solid driveshafts for 2 seater Elan. Stamped GKN on yokes. Splines seem to be in good shape and U-joints have no discernible play. Oddly, 3 of the 4 adaptor plates are drilled for both very early S1 stub shaft PCD and later S1-S4 style. Includes AN bolts and nuts. $200 obo.

The TTR shafts I believe are drilled for both PCD's. Looks like one was replaced without the dual drilling or if it was missed in original manufacture. The right side shaft in the photo appears to not be properly aligned either with the sliding spline out a tooth for alignment of the yokes on the intermediate shaft which also suggests a replacement at some time.

cheers

If it's out of alignment it's no doubt from slipping them apart to show the splines.

Hi,

I'm interested in the driveshafts. Do you have an email i can contact you on regarding them?

Would you take $200 including shipment to the UK ?

Thanks, Graham

The driveshafts have been sold. Based on all the interest I received, I should have raised the price :D
