Early Weber Head

I recently acquired this head for a street Elan. Measurements are as follows, they were done by me so they may not be 100% correct. Thickness 4.632, Intake valves 1.625, exhaust valves 1.4

The early heads like this have small inlet tracts and while this head has had race size valve fitted they are not much use for racing these days as the new cast heads with their larger inlet tracts develop significantly more power in a race motor.

The head however should be very good for a road engine with a short duration high lift cam such as a QED 420. Assuming all else is OK. I notice it has some tappings on the rear face that I presume was for extra oil drains ?
