Radiator S1/2

PostPost by: jabingb » Thu Feb 23, 2017 5:10 pm

I actually have 2, one appears to be freshly cleaned and painted, the other simply taken out of service. Haven't done a pressure test yet but I plan to. For those who want originality, these are the ones. Will provide better pixs if desired.

I've been considering making a run of exact size S1 / S2 radiators in Aluminum which can be painted black to look original.

After paying a premium for an original, and then spending a bunch getting it cleaned, and then spending more having it re-soldered in a number of places, and when I got done, I still had a 50 plus year old radiator. I am really leaning toward making some new ones in aluminum.

Anyone else interested if I make a run? If so, I'll get some pricing together.

My sincere apologies Jerry. I didn't mean to. I didn't think the radiators were still available.

Seriously, my apologies!
