]Hi,

I will shortly be posting a complete Lotus Big Valve Twin Cam Engine for sale on Ebay, but thought I'd mention it here first. It came from a Europa so has the pulley at the rear of the head, but it is equally suitable for use in an Elan.

Lastly, I will be posting a stock Big Valve head, also from a Europa. Valves sizes are 1.32" E, 1.562" I.It is missing a couple of Cam Caps, but otherwise looks to be in good shape.

Hi Ian.

I think you made a typo. Intake valves are always bigger than exhaust valves. Please take a look at the valve sizes you posted.

Hi Ian,

What shape is the complete engine in? Mileage, etc.?

How much for the Weber head?

Thanks,
Dan

Hi,
I know nothing about the history of the engine, I didn't care as I was going to rebuild it. Externally it looks well cared for.
I was hoping for $4k for the head which is what I paid for it 3 years ago, but I'm open to an offer.

Hi James,

How have you been?

No, not getting out, just realizing that I only need so many spares, 'just in case'! That, and scraping together a little cash to help pay for the 5-axis mill I just bought!

Ian
Im about to place an order from Gartrac for the MK1, Part of it is the ZF bellhousing and other Escort parts. I asked you in the past if you wanted a bellhousing, Please go to the site and review
https://www.gartrac.com/shop/transmissi ... tings.html
Im not sure if you still want one. They are 295 UKP (bare) then theres all the extra stuff you may need
Let me know.

Shipping is very easy compared to other UK companies

Hi,
Unfortunately the Coupe that this would have been for was one of the things that got 'down-sized'. In fact I was just about to post the ZF gearbox for sale as I have no further need.

Thanks anyway!
