Yeah right! I consider it an investment. I keep telling myself that about the car, but I think ive expended its worth and more in blood sweat and tears.

I thought you would like that! I would be interested if there were any reasonable way of getting it here!

Is it a mild steel twin pipe box, Mr Bloodknock? A very rare item if it is, with a lovely rasp only heard on the S4. The S/S version tends to be a bit more harsh sounding, but that's all that has been available for a long time.

The answer by Bob gave me a idea for a new thread that may last a very long time, 'Whats in a user name'

Bob is wrong in his assumption, but his suggested answer is not far of the mark

I now live close to San Diego California, The Holywood3645 has nothing to do with Hollywood California.
read the post

and tell your story. I bet there will be som interesting responses.

Bloodknock, would you send to california? Any idea how cheap i could get it mail. I have an S4 with a sprint exhaust box. The S4 i owned before sounded better!

OK. There are possibly a number of reasons why you are unable to decipher
(1) You are too young to be familiar with the 50's radio comedy
(2) You are a cousin and not a home grown Brit
(3) Youve never heard of "The Goons"
(4) Youre not a Peter Sellars fan

I on the other hand grew up with Major Dennis Bloodknock, Seagoon, Maligna, Moriarty, Eccles, Little Jim, Gryppipe Thynne, Crun, Minnie Bannister, et al during the 50's and incidentally, still on Radio 4 Extra today.
The Goonshow is a British institution, a classic. Probably not to American taste, but I'm sure you'll have heard of Peter Sellars.
Incidentally, the shipping costs would be prohibitive unless you are a fanatic about originality, and have Holywood type resources!
Regards
Bob
