S2 dash top and centre console

PostPost by: gordont » Tue Nov 26, 2013 1:56 am

Having swapped over to a new dashtop and centre console I am looking to clear out a few bits.
Before I bung these on ebay anyone interested?
Dashtop - original as per the pics but has a few bumps and 1 crack. I guess you could recover it if you wanted or use as a mould. AUD$50 plus postage wherever (or collect Artarmon or Balmain)
Centre console - original as per pics without the padded centre (but you can have the backing board), quite a few cracks (read that as lots) and was coated inside with fibreglass - AUD$50 plus postage wherever or collect as above.

Hopefully these will be useful to someone.

Oh and yes these are in Sydney Australia

Hi Gordon, I'll take the dash top, collect from balmain. Looks better than mine! Assuming it is same as my s3 dashtop of course, which i can bring over to compare. Thanks, robert

The S2 and S3 tops are very different, Robert.

That's a shame, mine's an earlier style S3 with the big vent outlet on top similar to S2, but maybe there's other differences on the sides? I now see from rdent's parts manual that a different part number is listed for the S2. Ah well, guess I'll recover mine

They do have the same grille (same as the Ford GT40 grille, which is why they are so expensive on eBay!) but as you say, the sides are different. On the S1 / S2 they flow into a moulding on the doors, which looks quite neat.

Gordon,

Do you still have the S2 Dash Pad for sale? If so, how much shipped to:

Frank Filicicchia
1797 Danforth Drive
Marietta, GA 30062
USA

Also, I have a "BRAND NEW CONSOLE". Would you consider trading and adding a little cash? They sell for approximately $300 new. This is NEW!!!

Thanks,
Frank
