Hmmm,

Looks like the seller is going to the Lotus Show in any event, yet wants to charge the buyer of the wheels ?5 to take them there. I love Ebayers like this. When ever I sell anything on Ebay, I am greatful to anybody that bids on my items, and on many occasions, have taken things to shows that have been bought on Ebay, free of charge, as I am sure most people would.

I dont suppose they would own up to being a member on the Forum?

Leslie

If you think I'm going to clutter my boot up and slow me down over the 150 miles doing someone a favour for the sake of ?0.99p you are sadly mistaken....that is if the "buyer" is genuine and turns up and doesn't try to haggle the price down to ?0.98p...I'd rather take them to the tip..

John

P.S. as you can see there is no charge for delivering the bulb!

Honest John,

I cant make my mind up, after reading your posts a couple of times, if you are the seller of the wheels or not, however, there would be no haggling after the sale, as it is pay within a couple of days via paypal, and therefore Im fairly sure the buyer will turn up to collect at Malvern!

And secondly, I think it very unlikely that the wheels will sell for 99p, and if they do, it will be my bid! and I dont even have a +2!!!!!

So therefore, I stand by my comments, that this is another unethical Ebay seller, just trying to cream it, and if it is you John, to bad.

Nice voltage stabilizer by the way, thanks.

Lets give the ebayer the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he was going to take his car, but if he takes the wheels he will have to use his van which is less economical and needs the ?5 to cover this additional cost!

Hi

I have seen buyers add a charge for collection before on Ebay, so could be worse. :D

Leslie

Get your bid in! I'm sure you'ld be happy for a set of rusty wheels delivered to your boot for ?5.99...I'd be more than happy to take your ?5.99 and deliver to your boot....

John

No haggling after the sale???....How many items have you bought/sold??

Glad you liked the voltage stabiliser..value for money?
