3.77 diff For sale ?

PostPost by: alexblack13 » Thu Feb 04, 2010 10:07 pm

Hi Guys,
As you prob' know I changed the diff' on my car for a 3.54 from the standard (I think) 3.77. Its a possibility that I might part with the nice running item that was removed. It is in V good condition with new front seal and a coat of paint. If there is anyone out there struggling for a diff' to suit their car I could be persuaded to part with it.

PM me if you are interested and need a diff.... Or indeed just require some counselling   (reasonable hourly rate!!)

Alex,

The 3.77 seems to go for quite strong money in Escort circles, it's a rare ratio apparently outside of Elan circles.

Ebay may be your best bet.

Thanks Jono, Money is not my major motivation but I do thank you for that information and I may indeed use Ebay if no one wants it among our 'group'. I have had a couple of people asking now so I am sure it will go off to a good home.

Many thanks to everyone who has replied etc...

Jono,

Do you recall what sort of price 3.77 ratio Diffs were going at on eBay?

We know Alex's (of this topic) wasn't a 3.77 anyway, but I have a complete but old 3.77 which I might want to sell, depending on what sort of money it is worth.
