looking pretty good... would you share the specifics of the build (motors reference, control setup or required adjustements to the existing frame and loom, possibly including a photo of the frame without the motor etc.)?

If you look back on the link below with Mike's kit, the motor I used is suggested there as is the control module. Discussion on both. There are no frame mods. Picked up the three holes. Chopped the wheel mount coupling back to engage into nylon drive. See photo of trial fit.
Control module wiring is shown on module website. Pretty much drops in series with raise lower wires. Plus module has its own pos neg supply. Fits unders dash each side.

thank you for the informations. I had read that thread, though remembered it as based on motors that may not be easy to source this side of the pond...

I got these motors from that company in, I believe, Malaysia. No problem to UK.

Great idea and the application of the adaptor plates looks well engineered. The addition if the cut out circuit is a good improvement too. Great pics and a good job Mike.

Left motor fits right window and right motor fits left window.

Fitted to car and working with one touch modules. Nice and fast. One interesting point, I tried an old motor in the jury rigged frame on the bench with the one touch module. At limit it took over 10amps to stall and cut out at bottom limit. I had nipped the cable with the original style arrangement (pretty tight) and it ripped it apart so I only did it once.
I had been up and down and stalling top and bottom with the new motor. I was seeing an averge of 6.5 amps to shut the sensor down. Whislt mid way max current was about 4 to 5 amps on the new motor, the old one was 2 amps, probably due to the large permanent magents. However, a lot slower, but more to stall. I figure that running nearer the stall sensor current on the new motor allowed the circuit to chop off faster.
Anyway, I am happy, will carry on and see how they go during the year.

Having been out for the first time in a good while I am please with the motors. Speed is great. The one touch is the icing on the cake though. Not having to dwell on the switches is great. Riding through town when you tend to lower the windows and then pick up speed as you leave allows a quick prod and up they go allowing you to concentrate on the driving.
