I was worried about the heat so close to the rubber so I wrapped it which works fine.
One tweak I’ll make next time is making a plate with the bolts welded on because screwing individual nuts on with the manifold in place is an awful job.

Posted: Fri Dec 18, 2020 4:50 pmChanging them is a good idea as the one near the exhaust manifold snapped after 8 years. Andy found it during the cambelt change and replaced it then.
