Has anyone install the Kelvedon adjustable rear wishbone on their Elan? If so, any comments?

Thanks in advance

Skip,
If you are talking about the ones with the turnbuckle in the rear leg of the A frame,
no, but have fitted that design on at least 6 cars. Works very well. Slight turn corrects toe out.
Don't believe all the business about tension and stress. If you put the saw through the rear leg they generally pull apart leaving a gap. So under tension.
The amount of adjustemt to effect correction is so slight. Part of a turn. Plus you only do it once. Also you get to keep rubber or poly bushes.
There is an old thread on here were I showed how to make up your own (with photos) using an off the shelf turnbuckle. On round section Lotus A frames.

Skip,
Totally agree with Mike's comments.
I made my own and the result is very good as a slight adjustment will correct any misalignment and or give you the desired set up.

Thanks for the positive input. I like the idea of keeping the original bushings...
