Lotus Elan and Lotus Elan Plus 2 Forums

Hi all, does anyone have any photos of a roll cage fitted to an Elan + 2 or any links to any sites or information?
If our car fails to sell on C&C this month we are considering converting it to a sprint and hillclimb car. Will be run in the road going class, so all interior will be in the car, not full strip out race car. We normally build our own cages for the classic rally cars we build and would want to fit this cage the same way. Many thanks, Rob

I have a couple of Photos taken at Prescott hill 2015, the car had a driver side only cage.

Hi all, got the roll cage built. when we have it painted and installed I will post some pics. Quite an easy one to do in actual fact, done a lot worse.

Pic as promised of the cage. Done before passenger seat went in. Car still has all its carpets and curtains for the road going class. Decided to fit a plumbed in fire system at the same time. Dellortos are prone to spontaneous combustion !! Looking forward to getting it on a hill or two soon.
