Seen these at the Autosport show today and thought these might be of interest: Period looking throttle bodies
Not cheap approx ?600 each, but would look good.

Same thing for a Jaguar straight 6.
I like the way the throttle position sensor is mounted in side the body

Throttle bodies are available on Jenvey's site:

https://store.jenvey.co.uk/throttle-bodies-and-components/throttle-bodies/heritage-dcoe

I have looked at these and they are very well engineered, but not cheap - particularly if you factor in all the other costs of moving to an engine management system.

I've seen the Jenvy kits on a couple of cars now, the throttles look great but then you stand back and look at the whole picture...... you can still see all the other efi bits you need to run which kinda ruins the effect.

In my opinion either run the stock set up or embrace the EFI, this is an expensive half measure.

Hi Chris
Must say, I don't see this as a half measure I'm very confident that I could add the rest of the components and it still look stock.
I think the same company now do a down draft version as well so probably a big market for classic Ferrari etc.

Steve

Very Nice,
I alway liked the look of throttle bodies but now much prefer the weber look.
Yours look very stock - does it still have a control box fitted, or is that an early fusebox?

Steve

Steve ,

That is the original original voltage regulator and it also has the original type fuse box. The ECU and associated devices for engine management have their own harness etc.
